We spoke to Olga Titova from Senator Pens to establish her reasons for changing over the daylight fluorescent tubes in her warehouse – Here’s what she had to say….

LEDs contain no harmful mercury and use less energy to produce the same light output as other lamp alternatives, which reduce their impact on the environment and make LEDs easier to recycle.

LEDs last much longer than alternative light bulbs. Fewer light bulbs mean less disposal, reducing contamination to our environment and our landfills.

 

This also means that fewer resources needed for production, materials, and transportation, which overall contributes to a reduction in carbon outflow and pollution on the environment.

LEDs are six to seven times more efficient than incandescent bulbs and use 80% less energy. So they will reduce our energy demand and subsequently cut carbon emissions from power stations.
